Welcome to the MIXXI Community!

These Community Guidelines (the "Guidelines") apply to all users of the MIXXI platform, including the mobile application, website at mixxi.ai, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform"). These Guidelines are incorporated into and supplement the MIXXI Platform Terms of Service and the MIXXI Privacy Policy.

MIXXI is an AI-native short-form music video remix platform that enables users to create personalized music videos by selecting from five interchangeable creative layers: song, star, look, move, and world through an artificial intelligence powered platform. These Guidelines establish the principles and expectations for all users of the MIXXI platform. Our community thrives on creativity, collaboration, and respect. These Guidelines exist to foster a positive, engaging, and safe environment for all creators and users.


1. USER CONDUCT: RESPECTFUL INTERACTION AND PROHIBITED BEHAVIOR

1.1 Core Principles of Respectful Conduct

All users agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Guidelines. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account and for treating all community members with dignity and respect.

We expect all users to:

a. Engage with others courteously and constructively

b. Respect diverse perspectives, identities, and creative expressions

c. Provide constructive feedback when interacting with other users' content

d. Support fellow creators through the MIXXI RISING competition and broader platform activities

e. Celebrate creativity and originality within the community

f. Contribute positively to the Platform's collaborative remix culture

1.2 Prohibited Conduct

You must not upload, post, transmit, or share content or engage in conduct that is:

a. Violence and harmful content:
- Depicting or promoting violence, child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or exploitation of minors

b. Harassment and abusive conduct:
- Unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, libelous, invasive of privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable
- Designed to harass, bully, intimidate, or threaten any individual or group

c. Fraud and deceptive content:
- Containing false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Intended to deceive or mislead others, including through deepfake, manipulated or AI-generated content.

d. Discriminatory Content:
- Discriminatory based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other protected characteristic

1.3 Abusive Practices

The following behaviors constitute abuse and are strictly prohibited:

a. Impersonation: Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity

b. Unauthorized Account Access: Using another user's account without permission

c. Identity Misrepresentation: Misrepresenting your age, identity, or eligibility to participate in competitions or receive prizes

d. Coordinated Harassment: Organizing or participating in coordinated efforts to harass, target, or harm other users

e. Doxxing: Sharing personal information of others without their consent

f. Sexual Harassment: Unwanted sexual advances, requests for sexual content, or sexually explicit messages

g. Platform Manipulation: Artificially inflating engagement, creating fake accounts, or engaging in coordinated inauthentic behavior.

1.4 Platform Integrity and Security

Users must not:

a. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, other users' accounts, or computer systems or networks

b. Use automated scripts, bots, tools, crawlers, or similar technologies to access or interact with the Platform

c. Interfere with or disrupt the Platform, servers, or networks connected to the Platform

d. Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features or features that prevent or restrict use or copying of content

e. Use the Platform to transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code

f. Collect or harvest personal information of other users without their consent‍

2. CONTENT STANDARDS: ACCEPTABLE CONTENT AND CREATIVE GUIDELINES

2.1 Understanding the MIXXI Remix Platform

MIXXI is a remix platform built on five interchangeable creative layers: song, star, look, move, and world—where users make choices and AI handles composition. The platform enables infinite creation and remixing while maintaining a shared community experience through MIXXI RISING.

2.2 Acceptable Content Types

Content created and shared on MIXXI should:

a. Align with Platform Purpose: Utilize the Platform's AI-powered features to create personalized music videos through the selection and remixing of creative layers.

b. Respect Licensing Agreements: Use only licensed songs available on the Platform and respect restrictions on music usage

c. Embrace the Remix Culture: Build upon and remix existing MIXXIs by changing one or more Digital Asset layers

d. Maintain Quality Standards: Create content that contributes positively to the community's creative environment

e. Support Creator Attribution: Understand that all content is subject to the NNA Framework for proper attribution

2.3 Restrictions on Copyrighted Material

MIXXI respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. Users must not:

a. Upload content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, personality rights, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights

b. Extract, download, or use songs separately from the Platform

c. Use songs for any commercial purpose without obtaining appropriate licenses

d. Upload photographs of other individuals without their consent, or of minors without verifiable parental consent

e. Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the Platform or content

All songs available on the Platform are licensed by MIXXI from music labels, publishers, and performing rights societies. Your use of songs through the Platform is strictly limited to creating MIXXIs for personal use and sharing as permitted by the Terms of Service.

2.4 Guidelines for Originality and Authenticity

Promoting Genuine Creative Expression:

a. User-Uploaded Content: When uploading photographs for avatar creation under the star layer, ensure you have the right to use and license that content

b. Authentic Representation: Do not create deepfake content or AI-generated content intended to deceive or mislead others about the identity of persons depicted

c. AI-Generated Content Disclosure: All MIXXIs are clearly labeled as AI-generated in accordance with applicable regulations

d. Original Remixes: While remixing is encouraged, ensure your creative choices add meaningful variation rather than duplicating existing MIXXIs

e. Creator Contributions: For users contributing original Digital Assets (Gen-AI creators, dance performers, fashion designers), maintain high standards of quality and originality

2.5 Content That Violates these standards

The following content types are prohibited:

a. Content that violates any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights

b. Spam, unsolicited advertising, or promotional content for unauthorized commercial purposes

c. Content that promotes or facilitates illegal activities

d. Content that contains excessive profanity or vulgarity inappropriate for the community

2.6 Prohibition of Shocking and Graphic Content

Prohibited content includes:

a. Gratuitous depictions of gore, bodily injury, death, or severe physical trauma

b. Content that depicts or glorifies extreme cruelty, torture, or degrading treatment of any person

c. Violent content shared for shock value without meaningful context

d. Content that promotes, encourages, or provides for self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.

e. Content depicting self-harm may be removed, restricted, or subject to additional safeguards.

2.7 Prohibition of Animal Abuse Content

Content that shows, promotes, or glorifies animal abuse, cruelty, neglect, or exploitation is strictly prohibited. This includes:

a. Depictions of deliberate harm, torture, or killing of animals for entertainment

b. Content that glorifies or encourages dogfighting, cockfighting, or other forms of organized animal cruelty

c. Videos or images of animals in severe distress caused by human action

d. Content promoting the illegal trade of protected or endangered species.

2.8 Prohibition of Dangerous Activities and Challenges

Content that shows or promotes dangerous stunts, dares, or challenges that could lead to physical harm if replicated by viewers is also strictly prohibited. This includes:

a. Content that encourages users to participate in activities known to cause injury or death

b. Viral "challenges" that involve self-harm, the ingestion of dangerous substances, or reckless physical acts

c. Content depicting or glorifying extreme or illegal risk-taking that endangers the creator or others

2.9 Prohibition of Content Promoting Harmful Body Image

a. Content that encourages, glorifies, or provides instructions for restrictive eating, purging, or other behaviors associated with eating disorders

b. Content that degrades or shames others based on body type, size, or physical appearance in a manner likely to cause harm

c. Content promoting unrealistic or medically harmful body image standards in a way that endangers user wellbeing

2.10 Commercial Disclosure and Paid Promotions

If you are promoting a product, brand, service, or business in exchange for payment, free goods, or any other form of compensation, you must:

a. Clearly and conspicuously disclose the commercial or sponsored nature of the content at the outset of the video or post

b. Use the in-app disclosure settings where available

c. Comply with applicable advertising standards and guidelines under Indian law, including those issued by the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI)

2.11 Prohibition of Frauds and Scams

Content that promotes, facilitates, or instructs users in committing fraud, scams, or deceptive schemes is strictly prohibited (in line with provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000). This includes:

a. Phishing attacks, advance-fee fraud, or romance scams;

b. Impersonation of brands, institutions, or individuals to deceive users into providing money or personal information;

c. Fake investment opportunities, cryptocurrency scams, or fraudulent giveaway schemes;

d. Content designed to trick users into clicking malicious links, downloading harmful software, or surrendering sensitive personal or financial data;

e. Ponzi schemes or any form of financial fraud.

3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: USER RESPONSIBILITIES AND PLATFORM MECHANISMS

3.1 Understanding Intellectual Property on MIXXI

The MIXXI platform involves complex intellectual property relationships between users, creators, and the Platform. Understanding these relationships is essential for responsible participation in the community.

3.2 User Content Ownership and Licensing

Your rights in your content: You retain all ownership rights in original user content that you upload to the Platform, including photographs uploaded for avatar creation. However, by uploading content, you grant MIXXI a broad, non-exclusive license to use that content for Platform operations as outlined in Terms of Service in detail, AI-generated content creation, enabling remixes, promotional purposes, and MIXXI RISING broadcasts.

3.3 AI-Generated Content and Digital Assets

AI-generated content created through the Platform, including MIXXIs, involves multiple intellectual property considerations:

a. Platform-Provided Assets: All Digital Assets provided by the Platform (songs, stars, looks, moves, worlds) remain the property of MIXXI or the respective creators who licensed them to MIXXI

b. User License: You receive a limited license to use, display, and share MIXXIs you create for personal, non-commercial purposes

c. Commercial Use Restrictions: Commercial use of AI-generated content requires explicit written permission from MIXXI and may be subject to additional licensing fees

d. Creator Attribution Through NNA: All MIXXIs are subject to the NNA Framework, which tracks and attributes the use of each Digital Asset to its creator for revenue-sharing purposes

3.4 The NNA Framework: Attribution and Revenue Sharing

The Naming, Numbering, Addressing (NNA) Framework assigns a unique, permanent identifier to every asset on the platform. Every look, move, set, hairstyle, and world has an NNA address. Every remix that uses that asset creates a traceable attribution chain. Users should understand that:

a. Attribution is structural, not approximate or inferred

b. Creators who contribute Digital Assets receive attribution and revenue share when their assets are used in MIXXIs

c. The system ensures fair compensation from Day 1, verifiably, with no algorithm gatekeeping income

d. Revenue attribution follows the 33/33/33 model for Premium Assets and programmatic advertising

3.5 Respecting Third-Party Intellectual Property Rights

Your responsibility to Ensure Compliance:

a. You represent and warrant that your user content complies with all applicable laws and the Terms of Service.

b. Do not upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others

c. Ensure you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for content you upload

d. Understand that you may be held liable for intellectual property infringement

3.6 Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed through the Platform, please submit a written notice to our designated Copyright Agent at copyright@mixxi.ai containing identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; identification of the allegedly infringing material; your contact information; a statement of good faith belief; and your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

4. REPORTING AND ENFORCEMENT: MAINTAINING COMMUNITY STANDARDS

4.1 Content Moderation Approach

MIXXI employs a combination of automated systems and human review to moderate content on the Platform to ensure a safe and respectful user experience. The Platform implements multi-level content moderation designed to be invisible to compliant users and immediate for violators.

Content moderation includes:

a. AI-based screening

b. Human review for flagged content

c. Immediate content approval or rejection notices with reasons and appeal options

d. Takedown upon court order or government notice in accordance with applicable law.

e. Mandatory reporting for child sexual abuse material (CSAM)

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor, review, edit, or remove any user content or AI-generated content at our sole discretion, including content that violates these Guidelines or is otherwise objectionable. Content moderation does not imply that we endorse, support, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the Platform.

4.2 How to Report Violations

We value your voice! If you encounter content or conduct that violates these Guidelines, please report it promptly using one of the following methods:

a. In-App Reporting: Use the in-app reporting mechanism available on each MIXXI and user profile

b. Email Support: Contact support@mixxi.ai with details of the violation

c. Grievance Officer: For formal complaints, contact our Grievance Officer at grievance@mixxi.ai

d. Notice and Takedown: For unlawful or infringing content, submit a takedown notice to support@mixxi.ai with identification of the content, your contact information, a statement explaining why the content should be removed, supporting evidence, and a declaration of accuracy

What to Include in Your Report:

a. Specific identification of the violating content or conduct

b. Description of the violation and which guideline(s) were breached

c. Any relevant screenshots or evidence

d. Your contact information for follow-up

We will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting illegal activity to law enforcement authorities. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 24 hours and endeavor to resolve it within 15 days in accordance with applicable law.

4.3 Consequences of Guideline Violations

Violation of these Guidelines may result in actions such as content removal, account warnings, temporary suspension, permanent termination, disqualification from competitions, forfeiture of any prizes, and potential legal action as deemed appropriate by MIXXI based on the severity of the offense.

4.4 Appeals Process

If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by:

a. Contacting our Grievance Officer at grievance@mixxi.ai within 7 days of the enforcement action

b. Providing a clear explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect

c. Including any supporting evidence or context

Appeals will be reviewed by human moderators, and you will receive a response regarding the outcome of your appeal.

4.5 Fair Play in MIXXI RISING Competitions

Participants in MIXXI RISING must comply with fair play principles. Prohibited conduct in competitions includes:

a. Vote manipulation, including purchasing fake votes or engagement

b. Creating multiple accounts to generate artificial engagement

c. Colluding with other participants to manipulate results

d. Using automated systems or bots to generate views, likes, or votes

e. Any other conduct designed to gain an unfair advantage

Violation of fair play principles will result in disqualification, forfeiture of prizes, and potential account termination. All decisions regarding competition rules, eligibility, winner selection, and disqualifications are made by MIXXI in its sole discretion and are final and binding.

5. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: FOSTERING POSITIVE CONTRIBUTIONS AND COLLABORATION

5.1 Embracing the MIXXI Community Spirit

MIXXI is more than a platform: it's a community of creators, remix artists, viewers, and supporters who share a passion for music, fashion, dance, and creative expression. The platform follows a participation model where passive consumers, consumer creators, and original creators all contribute to a thriving ecosystem.

5.2 Ways to Contribute Positively

Engage Actively:

a. Discover and Share: Explore the algorhythm feed to discover new content and share MIXXIs you love via WhatsApp deep links and social media platforms

b. Vote and Support: Participate in MIXXI RISING by voting for your favorite creators during weekly live episodes

c. Remix Creatively: Build upon others' work by remixing existing MIXXIs and changing one or more layers to create your own unique version

d. Provide Feedback: Engage constructively with creators through likes, shares, and supportive comments

e. Rally Support: During MIXXI RISING competitions, use Rally mode to share your submissions with friends and drive engagement

5.3 Collaboration Through Remixing

MIXXI's five-layer architecture enables infinite creation through remixing. When you remix another user's MIXXI, you're participating in collaborative creativity where:

a. Every asset layer (song, star, look, move, world) can be independently changed to regenerate the video instantly

b. Original creators receive proper attribution and revenue share through the NNA Framework

c. Your creative choices add value to the community while respecting the contributions of others

d. Collaboration creates traceable attribution chains that benefit all participants

5.4 Supporting the Creator Economy

MIXXI is designed to address the creator income gap through structural, transparent, and universal revenue sharing. Community members can support creators by:

a. Using Premium Assets: Purchase and use Premium Assets to support creators, knowing they receive a share of revenue

b. Engaging with Content: Views, likes, shares, and remixes generate revenue for creators through the 55/45 programmatic advertising split

c. Participating in MIXXI RISING: Vote for creators during live episodes to help them win prizes and advance to the Grand Finale

d. Sharing and Discovery: Share creators' work to expand their reach and enable them to earn from Day 1

5.5 Participating in MIXXI RISING

MIXXI RISING is a live competition series that transforms the platform from a creation tool into a cultural event with shared appointment viewing. How to Participate:

a. As a Creator: Submit MIXXIs for weekly challenges from Monday through Thursday, compete on daily leaderboards, and advance to Friday 9 PM IST live episodes

b. As a Viewer: Watch live episodes every Friday at 9 PM IST, vote for your favorites, and support creators through views, likes, and shares

c. Eligibility: Ensure you meet eligibility requirements, valid account in good standing

d. Engagement Scoring: Understand that winners are determined by weighted engagement scores including views, likes, shares, remixes, and premium in-app votes

5.6 Contributing as an Original Creator

For those who Build the Foundation: Original creators contribute new Digital Assets that power the entire platform. MIXXI serves four creator classes with purpose-built tools:

a. Gen-AI Creators: Contribute full asset sets (song + star + look + move + world layers) using AI tools

b. Dance Performers: Contribute move layer choreography representing canonical Bollywood dance and signature moves

c. Fashion Designers: Contribute look layer content with 10-Look themed outfit catalogs

d. Influencers: Contribute complete MIXXIs for seeding and reach amplification

Creators retain ownership of their underlying creative works but grant licenses for platform use, with the NNA Framework ensuring attribution and revenue share.

5.7 Building Community Through Respect and Inclusivity

Creating a welcoming environment:

a. Welcome new users and help them understand the platform's remix culture

b. Celebrate diversity in creative expression across all five layers

c. Provide constructive feedback that helps creators improve

d. Support creators across all skill levels and geographic regions

e. Recognize that every user—whether passive consumer, consumer-creator, or original creator—plays an essential role in the ecosystem

f. Promote collaboration over competition in day-to-day interactions (while maintaining fair competition during MIXXI RISING)

5.8 Transparency and Platform Understanding

MIXXI maintains transparency regarding algorithmic curation, content moderation practices, data collection, revenue-sharing mechanisms (NNA Framework), and competition rules. Details are available in the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and these Community Guidelines. Community members are encouraged to:

a. Read and understand the Platform's policies and how they protect both users and creators

b. Stay informed about updates to Guidelines and platform features

c. Ask questions through proper support channels when unclear about policies

d. Share knowledge with other community members to promote collective understanding

e. MIXXI does not endorse user content and is not responsible for user generated content on the Platform.‍

6. AGE REQUIREMENTS AND SAFETY

6.1 Minimum Age and Parental Consent

The Platform is intended for use by individuals who are at least 18 years of age and above. By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

6.2 Protecting Minors

Your responsibility is to ensure that our community remains a safe heaven for users of all ages. All users must:

a. Not upload photographs or content depicting minors without verifiable parental consent

b. Report any content that exploits or endangers minors immediately

c. Refrain from any communication or interaction with minors that could be considered inappropriate or harmful‍

7. COMPLIANCE WITH INDIAN LEGAL AND REGULATORY FRAMEWORK

7.1 Intermediary Status and Due Diligence

MIXXI operates as an "intermediary" as defined under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and complies with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.In accordance with due diligence obligations, MIXXI:

a. Publishes these Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy
‍
b. Informs users about prohibited content and conduct

c. Has appointed a Grievance Officer to receive and address complaints

d. Implements notice-and-takedown mechanisms for illegal or violative content

e. Removes or disables access to unlawful content upon receiving actual knowledge or notification

f. Cooperates with government authorities, law enforcement, and regulatory bodies as required by law

7.2 User Responsibility for Legal Compliance

Users are responsible for ensuring their content and conduct comply with all applicable Indian laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act 2000, Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, Indian Copyright Act 1957, and all other relevant legislations.

8. MODIFICATIONS TO THESE GUIDELINES

MIXXI reserves the right to modify these Community Guidelines at any time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or community needs. We will notify users of material changes through the Platform or via email. Your continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines.
